Rutgers: this is an improved variety of a classic NJ tomato, going back a full century to when Rutgers helped breed a tomato for Campbell's Soup (where my great-grandmother worked at the time!). This tomato is great as both a slicer and a sauce or soup tomato. Firm flesh, good flavor, small seed cavities. Indeterminate.
Gardener's Sweetheart: this variety comes from Maine homesteading and seed saving legend Will Bonsall. A grape tomato that one harvests by trunches that will last hung up in your kitchen for several weeks. Very resistant to cracking. Perferct for grilling, kabobs, salads. Indeterminate.
Amish Paste: big blocky, roma type tomatoes with great flavor that are perfect for sauce making. Indeterminate.
Cherokee Purple: these tomatoes create large, over half-pound fruits with color gradients spanning from pink to purple. Really nice flavor and texture for a slicer, and makes for a dramatic caprese. Indeterminate.
