Grafting Fruit Trees
Join Nicko Rubin of East Hill Tree Farm Nursery (www.easthilltreefarm.com) for a workshop on grafting and growing fruit trees on March 18th from 1 - 4pm at Cloud Water Farm, 284 VT-100, Warren VT.
Learn the ancient art and science of propagating fruit trees. From scion and rootstock selection through planting out. The workshop will include discussion and demonstration of various bench grafting techniques and materials.
Each participant will learn to graft and have a chance to graft their own trees and leave with 2 newly grafted apple trees. Tools and materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own apple scions and a very sharp pocket knife, grafting knife, or utility knife.
*Materials fees are included in the $40 workshop fee.

BIO: Nicko Rubin owns and operates East Hill Tree Farm, nursery and demonstration farm for fruit trees, nuts, and berry plants in Plainfield, VT. He provides edible landscape consultation, design, and planting. He holds a master’s degree in landscape design.

Student Cancellations:
Cancellations by students must be made at least two weeks prior to the start date of a workshop in order to receive a refund.Host Cancellations:
Each workshop must have a minimum number of students to be held. If Cloud Water Farm finds it necessary to cancel a workshop, we will notify students two weeks prior to the scheduled workshop start date.
A full refund will be provided to registered students. Refunds for a workshop purchased as a gift will be made to the purchaser only. Cloud Water Farm cannot be held responsible for any refunds for travel expenses or for off-site housing expenses incurred as the result of a cancellation of any kind.
