Gideon and Sleeping Giant chestnuts are blight-resistnat Chinese hybrids. Sleeping Giant bears consistnat, small to medium sized chestnuts with sweet flavor. Gideon has medium to larger nuts, and is noted for its cold hardiness. 
 
Due to a nursery mix-up, we are not able to guaruntee which cultivar each plant is at purchase.
