We are curious folks with a lot of passions: landrace varieties of corn, beans, wheat, apples, sunflowers, swimming holes and cover crops.

We are strip cropping cereal-legume rotations amidst chestnuts, hazelnuts, and perennial fruit plantings.

We are trialing and selecting corn and bean varieties for food production in northern temperate latitudes.

We are growing dry beans and corn for seed and for food.

We are also the home of Vermont Bean Crafters, the Craft Kitchen Collective, and Muddy Boots CSA.

Clouds are as old as the earth itself--
as much a part of our world as land or sea.

They are the writing of the wind on the sky.

They are the cosmic symbols of a process without which life itself could not exist on earth.
